Just when we thought 2018 couldn't be more fun - I plan a trip to Glasgow. Let's see what we can find out about the Campbells, the Fiskens (yes, those darn Fiskens end up on the west side of Scotland), the MacFarlanes, and more!
The photo to the left are my great grandparents: William Fisken and Lily Fisken nee Campbell. William left the pastures of Perthshire for Dunbartonshire (just north of Glasgow) and met Lily. They married and lived in Dumbarton and had (among others) my grandmother, Catherine. Catherine - or Kate as I believe she was called - married her first cousin William Fisken Glover and moved with him back to his home in Newcastle-upon-Tyne, England.
